To find works of literature in the library, start in the Library Catalog and Worldcat and use any of these search strategies:
- Do a Browse Search by Author
- Do a Browse Search by Title
- Do an Advanced Search for the words "fiction", "short fiction" "drama" "poetry" in the Subject field
- Do a Advanced Search for the word "novel" in the Title field
Remember that subject classification is not consistently applied - so you need to run a combination of searches to be comprehensive.
To find literary scholarship published in book format: use the subject heading History and Criticism and combine it with your topic or an author.
