Getting Started with Research

Choosing a Topic:

  • Consider things that you've read that have genuinely interested or puzzled you.
  • Find something dynamic that benefits from "action words" (ex. conflict, evolve, develop, show, create,).

Finding Keywords

  • Choose meaning-rich words from a topic
  • Create a list of related thoughts or ideas
  • As you search, collect more keywords that get closer to your idea or interest you.
