About Reference Resources

Reference materials provide general overviews, introductions to the topic, subdivided into more detailed information. A bibliography, which will provide additional resources, can usually be found at the end of each entry.  Reference books at Schow can be found down the stairs to the left.  The QD call number is assigned to Chemistry resources.  Browse table of contents and indexes....you never know what you might find!

Finding Background Information for your project

For an introduction to a topic, browse encyclopedia sets and reference books located in the Schow Reference area (bottom of the steps, to the left). These provide general overviews, subdivided into more detailed information. A bibliography, which will provide additional resources, can usually be found at the end of each entry.
