Early Music Sources
A database of online early music sources and iconography. Sources and images are browsable by topic, type, publication date, and other categories.

Expanding the Renaissance
expands the boundaries of art history in the classroom towards art histories that do not present European art as superior and help to weaken the binary western/non-western paradigm. Aligned with recent scholarship on what has been called “the global renaissance,” the ERI aims to do more than simply globalize, but to highlight overlooked subjects, materials, artists, groups, and locales.
Global Middle Ages
an ambitious effort by an international collaboration of scholars to see the world whole, c. 500 to 1500 CE, to deliver the stories of lives, objects, and actions in dynamic relationship and change across deep time. Various projects explore what the planetary past looked like when teaching was not carved up into disciplines and departments, or bound by area studies and regional studies.

Inclusive Early Music
A bibliography of over 200 sources that focuses on the variety of contexts in which "Early Music" happened, with special attention to people who—because of race, gender, geographical origins, or social status—have been left out of the mainstream musicological narrative.
Oxford Music Online
Includes biographies and reference articles on all genres of music, musicians, and musical instruments.
Music Periodicals Database
Publication Dates: 1874-Present
Covers a wide range of subject areas in both scholarly and popular music journals. Full text is available from around 1996-present.
RILM
Publication Dates: 1969-Present
Includes references to articles, books, bibliographies, and other scholarly publications in music. Concert reviews and recording notes are also included.

Streaming Media

Naxos Music Library
Includes streaming access to over 85,000 songs, including classical, jazz, world, and folk music. Be sure to log out of the database after your Naxos session.
Opera in Video
Contains 500 hours of the most important opera performances, captured on video through staged productions, interviews, and documentaries.

General/Multidisciplinary

Library Catalog
Search engine for materials in the library. Includes a list of all the books in the library, and a selection of articles. Does not include all articles owned by the library, but it's a good starting place.

Google Scholar
Provides access to scholarly articles, books, conference papers, and more. Modify your Google Scholar settings to access library-provided full text.
JSTOR
Provides access to articles in leading academic journals and books in the fields of humanities, social sciences and sciences.
Williams WorldCat
Contains information about materials held at libraries worldwide. Use Request Item button to borrow through interlibrary loan.
