Purpose: Help you get started with your research project by providing an introduction to the information landscape you’ll work in and to some research tools / strategies

Learning outcomes: By the end of the session you will be able to: 

  • Describe the information landscape for  your project 

  • Identify types of relevant sources

  • Select relevant search tools

  • Apply assessment criteria to sources

  • Know how to contact the sociology librarian
