In addition to the resources listed in the table below, Williams Libraries holds many books of documents relating to Parliament's handling of issues and conflicts. Search the library catalog for "Great Britain Parliament" as an Author combined with keywords for your topic (e.g., stamp act, slave, etc.). See also Breviates of parliamentary papers available.
The Parliament Sessional Papers are housed in the Library Shelving Facility (LSF) and need to be requested using a form within the library catalog record. They will be delivered to the Circulation Desk. Be sure to fill the year, volume number, part number (if given), and any other volume information. Keep for your own records the page or column numbers in your citations.
Note: The British Sessional Papers, House of Commons 1731-1900 are in micro-opaque format and must viewed using the digital microform scanner in the 4th floor printing room. When you request a document on micro-opaque, the whole box which contains your document will be delivered.
