How to Find Newspaper Articles: Introduction

When searching for newspaper articles, there are a few questions you should ask yourself to determine which resource(s) would be useful for finding the articles you want:

1. What time period do you need?
   • recent news (generally after the 1990s)
   • historical news (generally before the 1990s)
2. What geographic area are you interested in?
